PERSEPHONE 2nd physical consortium meeting and mine visit

The PERSEPHONE project recently held a productive consortium meeting in Athens from September 4th to 6th!

Over the first two days, we delved into the technical work packages and discussed the innovative demonstration scenarios that will be developed throughout the project.

On the final day, we had the privilege of visiting the impressive Koutzi mine on Evia Island, thanks to our partner, Grecian Magnesite. During the visit, we gained valuable insights into Grecian Magnesite's expertise in exploration, drilling, excavation, and rock characterization.

Together, we are pushing the boundaries of robotics, AI, and autonomous systems to revolutionize the future of sustainablemining.
